It's going to take job security to get a yes vote from me. Most entry level employees don't know that we are not part of the jsp until we move up to tier one. This means they don't have to call us back if we're put on an indefinite lay off and if they do call us back we have to start over from the bottom. I would like a raise to of course but this is my priority. The only way they wouldn't have to call u back is if u were laid off longer than the your length of service. I don't think the JSP even changes that. JSP was WAS a great thing. The uaw have up $5 in raises to get it. Never used it too awful much. Then in the downturn that brought us two tier wages, when we finally were using JSP it was gutted like everything else. Gauranteed that ford made money on the whole deal. That $5 an hour over all those years had to add up to a lot of money! Oh and btw the JSP doesn't start til u have 10 years in anyway if I remember right

I'm not ..I'm going by the article that I read..tyBut if there were a Republican president and a Republican majority congress that would be a good start to set into motion a fight against it...Hopefully. We had that under W for a while, and many republicans couldn't understand why things still couldn't get done. The whole Republican v/s Democrat game is just that, a game. We will see little difference regardless who's in office, because who's in charge is never in an elected office, and generally controls those in office. My family doesn't go to the doctor very often, so I'm unsure at the moment as to what my minimum requirements would be health care wise. Other than that: 3% sign on bonus 5% raise 3% yearly raise for length of contract Easter Monday Holiday Six minute/ hour break Time + 1/2 for all Saturday and time after 8 hour Double for all Sunday ( or be sensible and return to a traditional schedule if they insist on screwing up our home time with this horrible current schedule make them pay us for it!!) That's my minimum. It's not much. It's fair.

I doubt they will ever go back to paying "C" crew time and a half for Saturday and double time for Sunday, but they should. I bet it would solve the AWOL problems on the weekends.
