I voted no and I DESERVE A RAISE..That's all I have to say. So you think you and all other legacy employees should get a raise before entry level gets equal pay?

Nope I think we should all make the same..But they're not getting rid of the two tier.So if it came to a vote either you get a raise or I get a raise I would have to vote for legacy workers..11 yrs is long time..

Here's the deal ..When I hired in 1995 they told us 3 yrs till top pay. When you hired in they told you that you may NEVER reach top pay. Therefore although I want the same for all of us..You don't have a legit gripe..You knew what you were getting into ,so how can you complain now?Shame on you .Thats the kinda of wanna be I'm talking about ..

Remember this pal in 2025 when you are retired,us "wanna be's" will be the ones voting for your benefits and your well being. And I'm sick of the " you know what you got into" response! Yes I did Know I was taking a job that required membership into a union who's core principals are equality, solidarity, and equal pay! And I thought and was told that's what we are gonna fight for! What I didn't know is that all it's members were selfish and unrealistic idiots.

We all know in 2007 tough decisions had to be made and they were. Concessions were made and many gains of previous negotiations were lost. As a young adult in the Great Recession I understand you all did what you thought you had too for your families and the companies survival. That being said the union that drew up those concessions and the membership that voted for them should have understood and accepted this: There shouldn't be any pay raises for the legacy employees until the pay scale is equal for the entry level employees. It is such a slap in the face to hear Dennis Williams say "We need to close the gap( not eliminate) and get a raise for our legacy employees who haven't had one in nearly ten years". Why do you( who voted this mess in) feel that you deserve a raise? when whatever ford gives you could be added to whatever the entry level people get. Because if you think they(ford or Uaw) plan on doing away with two tier your wrong. So instead of closing the gap from 40% to 20% why don't you all accept what you already agreed to and give us your raise. And close the gap even more. We are you sons, daughters, nieces and nephews. SHAME ON YOU! Call me what you will but I will not vote yes for any contract that doesnt benefit this girl right here. YOU dont pay my bills. You vote how you want and so will I. On that note, get to work or go to bed and stop whining because as a legacy employee, its getting old real quick

Wow you all are just proving my point for me, ignorance and selfishness! Me me me is what Im hearing. The solidarity house needs to change its name to "my house", soldidarity magazine should be "selfish" and all union literature shound end with "me in mind" instead of in solidarity. And as far as the whining goes, how long has it been since your unskilled overplayed self got a raise? In solidarity

Yeah, one of those legacies is a very irresponsible drunk driver that gets paid 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The Union will spend more Union $Dollars$ on fixing this pathetic dude's criminal charges & legal defense than a 2nd Tier worker could ever dream of making in a year. The entire membership should be outraged!

Someone please explain "trolling" "or troll shit" don't get it really? lol Yeah really I don't get on message boards and I now see why. Someone points out the ugly truth and people can't take it. All you people that really think you should get a raise before entry level gets equal or much closer than 40% have no business even voting.we are talking foundation principals of a membership you pay to be apart of! Again as I said in the original post " the union as well as it's members should've understood by creating a second tier, the first tier shouldn't get raises until everyone is equal!" But as I said apparently principles and core values that mean shit to this generation of union members.

Well, while you were hanging out in middle school and jerking off 3 times a day, us legacy employees were sweating and working our asses off at Ford Motor Co. I had been there for about 7 years already. We had pay, break time and pride taken from us while we tried to save our jobs. So, for you to get on here and say legacy employees dont deserve a raise or we should give our raise to you, to that I say F YOU!! We have put in years and years of busting our ass and you tier 2 come in and say we dont deserve shit this contract??

Dont like how things are step up & run for a position & change them. That requires alot of work & determination, something that you seem to be lacking. Just lay in there & get it.

The hypocrisy Is amazing with you people! FIRST: No, I'm 34 yrs old I've worked two jobs for 9 yrs.I've been in 3 different national unions (one of which is much lager than the Uaw, nlca) and spend 10 yrs as a contractor in material handling at ktp where I made more money as such than an entry level employee. But i lost that job when c crew was cut there so I know all about your "sweating and busting your ass" , please! SECOND: Deserve? News flash ktp girl you are a labor union member you aren't paid based on merit ! You are payed based on what is negotiated through collective bargaining and in 2007 you and your elected officials negotiated a bad deal. A deal that went against everything unions stand for. How about taking some accountability for that and making it right. This thread proves my point incredibly, how can you "proudly" be a union member yet when giving the chance will gladly shit on 28% of your brothers and sisters. For what, so that you can make twice as much as them and twice as much as anyone else in the country with your skill set?Equality is what you should be shouting if you had any true knowledge of what a union stands for,not "I deserve this".Oh And thank god it's not based on merit for your sake, how's that pride of yours when you see every month that us "wanna be's" put out a better product time and time again. Deserve, wow! THIRD: I'd love to get involved because I actually do have drive and determination and a real understanding of what a union is supposed to be. Unfortunately all that is focused on holding down two jobs and a family together. But don't fret maybe our "leadership" can FaceTime from jail and use that determination to get all you people everything you " deserve" in our next local!!!

Your still a dumbass..It passed 51%to 49% which smells kinda fishy. You shoulda studied harder in school or learned a trade(like me welding) then you would get higher paying jobs instead of crying anbout being a lesser paid employee(which you knew was the case) when you started at Ford..See I could quit now and still make 18 to 23 $ and hour because I have a skilled trade ..That's why America is going down the shitter with Leeches like you.WE DONT OWE YOU SHIT SO GO TAPE UP YOUR FINGERS AND GET IT ...Maybe your day will come ..Then again maybe not..
