Thank your union for letting that happen. The same ones basically begging everyone not to jump ship in September. I love how they’ve started their WE ARE STRONG campaign against the RTW..I laughed my ass off at this months on line mag.Very hypocritical articles.I would NEVER quit the union BUT I only have 3-4 yrs left. But as a newbie with lower wages that’s another story.Uaw really needs to show they have some kind of influence in his contract .And not come back to the workers with”Well we think this is a great contract”Good luck on that tho

I completely agree. With RTW the union better start taking better care of us workers or things will get bad. Two of the biggest automotive manufacturers are in Kentucky and Michigan and both are RTW. Fords been making money hand over foot and we don’t want to hear a bunch of bullshit at contract time. If they can afford a billion to redo a hundred year old train station for the upper elite and pouring money into overseas markets that is losing millions for years on end they can afford to give us a decent contract. Retirees desperately need a big raise too. They are making the same in retirement that they did 25 years ago.

I think originally they were for C crew SUV ,but since then the dept transfer have been opened up.I work A crew body and we are getting people from Trim,Chassis now.So I would say it will be trim,Chassis, frame all crews and SUV C crew.

Definitely final and more than likely Ccrew. Management is moving everyone around here lately and we have received 5 people from Ccrew to Bcrew in the last 2 weeks.

Unless the New contract finally gives a raise to our "Life Income Benefit" if you retire in or during this next contract you will be drawing the same pension as retirees from 15 years ago because that's how long it's been since the retirement pension has had a raise. Second tier has had upgrades and raises to theirs but legacy hasn't had a pension raise for 15 years.

All the bids are currently up and yes they are allowing moves around the plant to get everyone situated before the transfers.

The USA is the golden egg for ford and especially Ky. Show me the money!! Ford and UPS own Louisville and are a huge impact on the economy. They alone help all others businesses around Louisville with the money put in. Kinda unrelated but the 8 year full pay is absurd. It needs to be renegotiated desperately come contract time. Silly question probably, but who in the union is responsible for seeing some of the bullshit and overworking going on lately to bring up in negotations? Have they worked the line at all or is it people who have no idea so are more likely to roll over for Ford?

What is the production number you usually hit by the end of shift in chassis and trim, not talking off flattop.
And do you usually work 10 hours or 10.7?
