No offense man plantworker2019, but you're asking questions that are very difficult to give specific answers to.
How long do we work? It varies from dept to dept, whether you're on a 4 day week or 5 day week. It varies day to day, month to month. 9.2, 10, 10.5. Its all over the place.
Which crew are the openings on? All of them, and eventually seniority will settle. You could be stuck anywhere they want to stick you, and frozen there for months. Dept to dept transfers are possible, but aren't immediate, or even quick.
As far as "the suv part of the plant", there are two chassis and frame lines, but one of each is a "combo" line that runs Suvs and Trucks.
And the question about "how long do they give you to complete your job by OIS standards" is just an impossible one to answer. You've got temps put on overloaded jobs that hold it all day. You've got the union time study rep buying off on jobs that are IMPOSSIBLE to do by OIS standard, never been done, never been held, yet Union buys off on them. That question kinda makes me believe you're pretty new to the assembly world.
