As long as KTP stamping is like other stamping plants I can’t imagine stamping openings come open that often, once people get there I don’t see them leaving

Here's the DEAL Go to KTP if you want to work a 3 Crew Schedule. LAP is going to be working your tails off, working 5, 6, or 7 days a week trying to launch and fill a Order Bank for a couple of Great New SUV's. Thats it. Its that simple.. Hope you like your job and those you work with. Because your almost going to live with them on Fern Valley this next year ... Just a Heads up.. Keep it REAL......

Concerning rotation, it depends on the team. Some do and some don't Concerning how many it takes to run a shift, that is a question that maybe a committee person could answer or possibly the Plant Chairman. I can speak from experience that in SUV Body we typically run around 8 hours a night. That goes for SUV Paint too. Super Duty Body usually runs close to 10 hours. Sometimes a little less and sometimes a little more.
I understand the trepidation of moving to a new plant. Just remember, we supply commercial and industrial sectors so the inevitable downturn here will be much easier to ride out than elsewhere. Good luck.

Only thing you’re forgetting is when the inevitable downturn happens and Ford closes plants (or in some cases stays open but still allows transfers?)they all flood KTP (melting pot)so your seniority is constantly fluctuating..But that said in 23 yrs 6 months never been laid off more than a month.

Majority of transfers will be starting in final. Everyone in final is moving to fill the body and paint spots now.
6 U trim lines and 6 pTrim lines. Not sure what the LAP people are seeing on their signup sheets but this is where most will be.

Last freeze took forever. I think it was like June to October of the following year.
