GM refuses another offer from the UAW today. This thing is going to on for a while. Meanwhile 900 per shift Ford is stockpiling trucks ready for our strike coming. GM will come out ahead people can't go 250/ week much longer.

I doubt that.I think GM workers are dug in for the long haul.Im sure most will get a job since there’s TONS of positions to be had.I think GMs going to bend soon.Thats the mindset that worries me here at Ford.Newbies saying I can’t make it on 250 a week.Better get prepared.I already have a PT job lined up for cash.Fuck it

No matter what your age if you're able to walk into Ford you should be able to walk into somewhere else and do a job to supplement your strike money...

It’s my opinion that the newer guys will last longer than the 20 plus year guys if it comes down to it. Many of the newer guys probably aren’t bringing much more home than 250/350 a week now after tesphe deductions and the like. GM still has over 50 days supply of vehicles, hopefully the UAW will come out and say they won’t return to work once an agreement has been reached but will wait until a contract vote has been done and accepted before they return. It’s just an old fashioned pissing contest at this point
