I also think it will pass 60-40. Most of the complainers wont even vote. Just like a lot of complainers did'nt vote for president in 2016.

I am enjoying these messages though down the line. "Vote no" "no no no" "down with the contract" let just hope for the best and pray against the worst

Of course the highlights are good,BUT starting to hear rumors about LOWLIGHTS .So until I READ the WHOLE contract I’m Leery.Dont think anyone thinks they’ll get what we deserve.Moon and Stars???Lets say for instance they discontinued SWW?Then that’s an automatic NO regardless of monetary gains.

Hopefully not. This contract is a turd! Don’t just look at the highlights, but read the entire contract. Did you know that the union has agreed to let ford place cameras, walk path monitors, and motion tracking systems throughout the plants and record your motions and steps to increase productivity (add work). Look it up - page 157c
This is just one reason to vote NO!

The technological advances in motion/movement are inevitably to be a part of just about all workplaces in the future. Actually most ppl ALREADY use them and if Ford wanted that data, I’m sure they could get it already.
Ford already has cameras in the plant but they currently cannot view workers/workstations. I’ve seen them in SUV paint and the monitors just show big black boxes where people are working and they’re just supposed to be used for viewing automation and line movement.
Your point was brought up at mtg and evidently it can be approved/denied/agreed upon locally from bldg chairman and plant mgr. Alan Hughes laughed and reassured everyone that “I wouldn’t agree to this.”
I’m not saying I support it however, just stating some points. If it’s a locally negotiated part of our local contract, it seems like a good standard to hold our officials to.

Legacy employees didn't gain anything, the 2nd tier employees gained the most. The economy is the best it has been in years yet:
We lost our x-mas bonus.
Retirees lost their x-mas bonus.
We lost $10,000 on the buyouts.
Went backwards on awols.
We still didn't get back any of our break time or regular cola.
Still nothing added to our pension LIB for the last 12 + yrs. The $1000 deposit to tesphe is a JOKE, do the math on that one. If you retire with 30 yrs and live 15 yrs after you retire that's an increase of 18 cents per LIB unit, that's $5.40 a month. Social Security raise next year on average is projected to be about $23 a month.
Still no raises for past retirees.
Camera's on work stations, HELL NO.
The only gain I see is that there isn't a pull ahead on your profit sharing this time.
I'm sure there are more, these are just off the top of my head late at night.

I'm voting yes & most of the people around me are too. Is it perfect? Absolutely not but it's not bad. People need to go to the meetings & stop listening to all the bullshit 2nd hand information.

For Ford to be so cheap they take a persons Xmas bonus is enough for me to vote NO.Meetings are a joke.If I have a legitimate gripe or question will they go back to the table? No they’ll try to smooth it over ..No for me ,and in my area (body) I haven’t heard anyone say Yes.PS as with all my opinions on here I’m for each and every person looking at THEIR own situation and voting accordingly.Nobody should try to influence another on how to vote.

IMO more yes votes would have come if the raises/lump sums were reversed. 4-3-4-3 with 4 being the raise and 3 being the lump sum.( Lump sum payouts absolutely suck) By having the raise in the 1st year you earn more over the course of the contract. Putting the raise in the 2nd year is a big loss for all.

Plus the slick assholes are going to pay out the rat bonuses on Black Friday. I feel much better about the whole thing than I did at first, but I'm still a no vote just on principle. First offer... They can do a lot better so at least do a little better.

Wow..Good for the in progression guys!Passes now easily Lol, was getting rejected at some plants so they magically found an error lol. Alot of rumors of a revote in Chicago and others that have already voted prior to this “error”...maybe they will if it gets rejected. Either way we don’t stand a chance with these shenanigans. Stay safe people

This was a huge error. I noticed it at first look. We were gonna get leap frogged by people with a couple years less seniority.
